Walt Disney World Review

Author: C.C.

If anyone ever tells you that you can visit all the theme parks in Orlando in just one week, don't believe them. If you would like to see all of the theme parks in Orlando Florida, don't kid yourself. Unless you can afford to take a vacation after your vacation, you won't want to see everything in the same trip because there is way too much to see and do. Many people make the mistake of wanting to see as much as possible but end up on such a hectic pace that they don't enjoy their holiday as much as they should. If this is your first trip to Orlando, there are no hard decisions to make on what your first stop must be...

Walt Disney World a.k.a. The Happiest Place on Earth!
This place will definitely make the top 10 list of most memorable holidays of your life. Whether you are young or old, short or tall, this place has it all. Don't think it's not for you because they can and will offer you the holiday of your dreams. Even if you are the type of person who hates cartoons, roller coasters, and fireworks... I bet you still walk out of Walt Disney World with the biggest smile your face has ever produced!

Hotel Accommodations
If you can afford it, I recommend you stay in one of the Disney Theme park hotels. They have a wide price range but all of them are awesome. You could spend a whole day just hopping from hotel to hotel on the resort and you will be in awe at how beautiful they are. If you would like to spend a little less on your accommodations, you can still have a great holiday if you stay in one of the what seems to be thousands of nearby hotels and resorts which are just minutes from Walt Disney World.

The Rides & the Shows & the Lineups
All I can say is... WOW! Really WOW! Walt Disney World is always adding something new and unbelievably entertaining. They succeed every time. There is so much stuff to see and do that you couldn't possibly do or see it all in one trip. Chances are by the time you plan your next trip to Walt Disney World, they will have added new attractions and you will have to plan yet another trip to see the rest.

The one drawback from this garden of eden is the lineups. There have been some reports of people having nightmares of being in lineups for weeks after their visits. A quick tip to save you at least one lineup is to purchase your ticket to the park ahead of time so you can walk right up to the gate and start the fun as soon as you get to the park. For the other ones, be patient, bring a bottle of water, and wait. Trust me, it will be worth the wait.

Tips for a Better Trip
Here are a few tips and tricks that will make your trip even better. Most people learn these by the end of their first trip and implement them by their second. Lucky for you as you will be able to better prepared on your first trip.
  • Plan Ahead

  • As I mentioned above, purchase your admission ticket before you get to the park. You will avoid the first lineup.

  • Get a Map

  • Get your hands on a map of the theme parks before your trip. Get familiar with it and study it each night. You will save allot of time by not having to search for the desired attraction.

  • Plan Ahead Each Day

  • Spread out your favorite attractions to one a day and make it the first stop each morning. This will save you hours and hours in lineups later on. If you try to get to all your favorite attractions on the first day, you will spend most of the day in lineups. Get to the park early and head right to the first ride.

  • Have a big Breakfast

  • If you have a big breakfast, you may be able to avoid the lunch hour rush and eat a little later. This again will save you much time spent in a lineup.

  • Dress Comfortably

  • If you don't own a good par of walking or running shoes, buy one. It will be the best investment you have made for this trip. This place is huge and you will do allot of walking and standing in line. Shorts with velcro pockets that secure your belongings is a good idea as well.
Walt Disney World lives up to it's mantra "The Happiest Place on Earth!". You will have a great holiday no matter what your personality. In MY Opinion... once you leave, you will definitely want to return again and again.
