Do not think you are compeletely anonymous whe you visit a website. As soon as you click on any of the billions of links of this webbed world, you are instantly giving giving the webmaster a few clues. Among other things you let hem know what browser you are using and where you came from, but most importantly, your IP Adress. This address uniquely identifies your current internet connection and even if dynamic, it can usually be converted into a static account name with your ISP. This process is called Reverse DNS and it also usually yield your geographic location. Sounds like a Cookie you say? Well calling it a Super-Cookie that never goes away until you change your ISP would be more apropriate. Just something to keep in mind as you wander the Internet.
